For the last 14 years, Dr. Sherin has been a teacher, practitioner, trainer, researcher and an advocate for the cause of mental health and education. She holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology, an M.Phil. in Clinical Psychology from NIMHANS, Bangalore, and a Ph.D. in Psychology from Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit, Kerala. She is a Play Therapist and is trained under Play Therapy International (PTI), UK.

Her research interests include a focus on psychological interventions and promoting Child and Adolescent Mental Health, Play Therapy in children with externalizing and internalising behaviours, School Mental Health and Neuropsychological functioning and deficits in CABG patients.
