We are looking for a Research Assistant at the Vision Lab IISc (c/o Prof SP Arun) to work on a project to understand visual perception in children who are learning to read. The project is part of a broader collaborative effort with the University of Oxford and The Promise Foundation to understand literacy in children across Karnataka.

Job responsibilities include recruiting participants, taking informed consent, conducting computer-based visual assessments, curating data, analyzing data, and working with an enthusiastic and interdisciplinary team. 

 

The ideal candidate should have a background in psychology/cognitive science/neuroscience, and must be fluent in speaking Kannada.
