Pilot study on Social Networking during the pandemic
The COVID-19 pandemic has changed the way people relate with each other as social restriction measures forced people to limit face to face interaction with others in their social networks. Many people have shifted to remote work or study for more than a year, and a huge proportion of communication now takes place over call or the internet. In this study, we want to assess the nature of people's interactions within their close social networks during the pandemic. Second, we also want to assess the rates and patterns of substance use during this period.
This pilot study is part of a PhD research project by Mr. Prakat Karki (Junior Research Fellow), under the supervision of Dr. Madhavi Rangaswamy (Associate Professor) at CHRIST.
